he was a professional dancer dancing with the Stars since season 18. But for season 32, he’ll be taking a step back from his duties, and for good reason.
Carson revealed via TikTok in August from which he was taking a break DWTS focus on his young children. In the video, the mother of two explained that she wanted to spend more time with her children — Kevin Leone2 e Jet, born in May – which she shares with her husband, Carson McAllister.
“Family is the most important thing to me, and we felt like moving our entire family across the country right now wasn’t for us,” she told her TikTok followers. “Leo is at an age where he needs consistency and reliability, and he hasn’t had that since he was born… I definitely think this is just a break. I hope it’s not goodbye.”

During a recent interview with PeopleCarson elaborated on his choice not to return DWTS for season 32.
“It was a really tough decision. Dancing is my passion, it’s what I love to do. I’ve been on the show for 11 years now, so deciding not to do it was a very big decision,” she told the publication in an article published on September 13th.

In addition to wanting to be there for her young children, the new mom explained that three months after giving birth, she didn’t feel physically ready to dance again.
“I always want to give 110% in everything I do, and I didn’t feel like I could give that to what the show requires,” she said. “So we decided not to do that, and we’re deciding to just stay home together, enjoy each other’s company and be a full-time mom, to soak up all those little big moments and everything that comes with motherhood.”

Carson described motherhood as a “full-time job”: Waking up the kids, feeding them, picking up and dropping off the nursery, etc., is a huge commitment. And the professional dancer wants to savor every moment.
“Being there for Leo is really important to us, experiencing everything he’s going through, no matter what it is, even if he had a stroke and fell, I want to be there for that,” she said People. “And Jet, of course, when he cries, I want to be the one to pick him up and calm him down and put him back to sleep.”
Carson concluded, “My kids will only be this young once, so I have to take advantage of it.”
