The communication with the representative was kind and it was claimed that the shipment would be executed quickly, but nothing. Information from the publicly available database “Lursoft” shows that SIA “Colorfall” was liquidated in March of this year. Laura and other clients filed a complaint with the State Police, but were deeply disappointed.
The State Police provides a written comment to the “Bez Tabu” program, explaining that as part of the departmental investigation, it was concluded that no criminal offense had been detected.
“It was concluded that the company is in financial difficulties and is therefore unable to settle its obligations with customers. Also, the representative of the company has indicated to the police that all debts to the customers of goods will be repaid in order of priority. In addition, the State Police has obtained information that the company has already gradually refunded the money to several other customers.”
The Consumer Rights Protection Center (PTAC) has also been informed about the troubles with the Latvian clothing brand – they have already received 20 submissions. In addition, three complainants who applied directly to PTAC’s Consumer Dispute Resolution Commission managed to recover their money.
