TUI has issued a new holiday warning for Brits heading abroad this weekend.
Holidaymakers are being warned to allow extra time to get to the airport from today until Sunday.
This is because of the current train strikes across the UK, which took place tomorrow and will resume again tomorrow.
However, the strikes are also expected to cause disruption today and on Sunday due to the cancelled services.
TUI issued the new advice on their website, saying: “We’d like to remind customers of a planned national train strike on Thursday 18th August and Saturday 20th August which is likely to affect services into airports across the country throughout the day on Friday 19th August and Sunday 21st August.
“If you are heading on holiday on either of these days please plan ahead and make alternative plans to get to your departure airport if necessary.
“We’d also recommend allowing extra time for your journey.”
