Tiger Woods, 46, has passed the Master’s qualification limit.
But it didn’t go smoothly on the difficult course to play.
– I thought: what else can go wrong? says the Discovery star.
Tiger Woods defeated the odds and returned after a serious car accident.
The night before Saturday, Swedish time, he managed the cut in this year’s edition of The Masters at Augusta National – for the 22nd time in a row.
Woods never missed the qualifying limit, but the second day of competition started with the wind. On the first five holes, he represented four bogeys.
“Hard for most people”
But he played.
The golf icon finished the day with 74 strokes, two above par in the round and one above in total.
– The body doesn’t feel as good as I would have liked, but it’s okay, says Woods in Discovery.
– It has been tough for most people, many have had problems. But I managed to cut, play over the weekend and it’s going to be great.
Starfall over Augusta
Several other big names, however, missed the cut. Including Jordan Spieth (+6) who failed to advance for the first time in his career.
Even players like Xander Schauffele (+7) Justin Rose (+8) and Bryson DeChambeau (+12) didn’t cross the qualifying limit.
