The Russian-appointed speaker of the Crimean parliament said that Ukraine was behind the incident on the Crimean bridge, the state-run RIA news agency reported. It was quoted that the bridge was attacked by what he called a “terrorist regime” in Ukraine, and that the railway part of the bridge was not damaged.
Rail traffic between Crimea and Russia has resumed after the extraordinary incident on the Crimean bridge, the TASZZSZ news agency reported on Monday. A train has left the Crimean city of Kerch and is heading across the bridge to Moscow.
The incident on the Crimean bridge may have been a provocation by Moscow
Natalya Humeniuk, spokeswoman for the Southern Military Command of Ukraine, said on Monday.
In the explosions on the bridge, two people in a car were killed and a child was injured, Russian officials said on Monday.
