The exact reason for the departure of the two generals is unknown, their resignations were accepted by the Polish president.
Several things may have contributed to the decision: this week, for example, there will be elections in Poland, and the Polish government has made several controversial decisions and statements regarding this in recent weeks.
General Andrzejczak, for example, was a committed supporter of Ukraine and repeatedly called on NATO to act more aggressively against Russia. The Polish government recently halted arms shipments to Ukraine.
According to opposition politicians, there are political reasons for the resignation: according to them, the Polish military leaders resigned because they were not reconciled to the fact that the government was using the Polish army for “politicization”.
