The economist sees that SVB’s bankruptcy is “just the first in a series of bankruptcies that are just starting,” but he added: in his opinion, it is impossible for Europe to repeat the crisis of 2008, since the region’s financial sector “learned its lesson particularly well” in the previous crisis.
