The Nītaure-Gikši highway (V316) is flooded and closed to traffic, representatives of VSIA “Latvijas valsts ceļi” (LVC) report.
The detour is possible by driving through Melturii, on the highway Garkalne-Alauksts (P3), Vidzeme highway (A2) and Ārgli-Drabeši (P31).

LVC invites motorists to inform LVC about washouts and flooded sections of roads in the national road network, as well as other observations related to traffic and road conditions, by calling the 24-hour free information phone number 80005555, as well as on the company’s accounts on the social networks “Twitter” and “Facebook”.
Also, the highway Ārgli-Drabeši (P31) in the section Kosa-Ęikši is flooded and closed to traffic.
The detour is possible by driving through Melturii, on the highway Garkalne-Alauksts (P3), Vidzeme highway (A2) and Ārgli-Drabeši (P31).
