Uncertain opening in the USA
After yesterday’s rally, the US stock markets opened today in search of direction, as investors pay attention to the negotiations on the debt ceiling, signs of the Fed’s next move and the latest corporate reports. The sentiment was negatively influenced by the fact that, according to Lorie Logan, president of the Dallas Fed, the latest data do not yet indicate that the central bank should pause interest rate hikes when it decides on interest rate policy at the June 14 meeting. After that, the Dow opened down 0.2 percent, while the S&P 500 is close to yesterday’s closing value, and the Nasdaq is up 0.4 percent. In parallel with the American opening, the pluses began to melt on the European markets as well.

The good mood in Europe persists
The rise in European stock markets continues, led by the German DAX index, which is just a few points away from reaching an all-time high. The Hungarian stock market is also taking its share of the good international mood, in our country the rise is led by OTP and Mol, we can talk about a 0.9 percent increase in both papers.

Strong opening in Europe
Together with yesterday’s rise in the American stock markets, the mood on the international markets started to improve, this is also shown by the European opening, where the DAX rose by 0.9 percent, while the CAC rose by 0.6 percent and the FTSE 100 strengthened by 0.5 percent.
