They wrote that from March 1, users can pick up and leave bicycles in the Városliget at the intersection of Ajtósi Dürer sor and Stefánia út, as well as Olof Palme promenade and Zichy Mihály út, as well as next to the artificial ice rink and boating lake.

According to the data provided by the company, since the restart in May 2021, the number of bicycles available in the MOL Bubi fleet has increased from 1,200 to 2,260, and the number of collection stations has increased to 183.

When designing the new stations, BKK also paid attention to the fact that the Városliget, which is popular with those who want to relax, is easily accessible, and that a new collection station is created in the immediate vicinity of the new cultural institutions, among others the House of Hungarian Music, they wrote. The creation of the new stations was supported by Városliget Zrt.

According to plans, BKK will continue to expand the service area and fleet of the public bicycle system this year as well.

In the announcement, they also mentioned that, thanks to the user-friendly application, easy registration and renewed bikes, the system also achieved outstanding results in winter after the summer records: the number of trips exceeded 4.4 million in February.
