Today, the BUX index ended the day up 0.5 percent compared to its last closing value. The BUX index is currently above its 20-, 50-, and 200-day moving averages, so a clear rising trend can be observed in the case of the domestic stock index in the most important time periods.

Today we saw mixed movements in the leading Hungarian shares, the price of Mol rose by 1.7 percent, while the price of OTP closed with a gain of 0.5 percent. Meanwhile, Richter’s share price fell by 0.4 percent, while Magyar Telekom’s share price fell by 0.5 percent.
The share price of mid-cap listed companies typically fell today, the decline was led by the shares of CIG Pannónia, whose share price fell by 3.4 percent, and Alteo’s share price fell by 3.3 percent.
The largest turnover today was in OTP’s papers, HUF 5.4 billion worth of company shares changed hands, but the Top 5 also included the shares of Mol, Richter, Magyar Telekom and Opus.
