Three of those on board were injured, the Indian news agency ANI reported. The plane had a crew of two and six passengers, a Learjet 45 private jet that had arrived in Mumbai from Visakhapatnam.
The causes and circumstances of the accident are still unclear.

At the Mumbai International Airport, the incident caused delays in arriving and departing flights
said the spokesperson. The airport is one of the busiest single-runway airports in the world.
