There are several vehicles in this convoy. Thanks to the company “Latvijas finieris”, a military quad bike and two SUVs will go to Ukrainian soldiers. A pick-up truck is ready to go to the brigade where the actors work, for the purchase of which the singer Katrina Gupalo asked for a donation.
On the other hand, thanks to the charitable initiative “Stopify”, defenders of Ukraine will receive a military buggy equipped with weapons that will protect soldiers from shrapnel. The convoy will also be joined by an SUV prepared by the “Agendum” society.
Minibuses with uniforms, drones, food, beds-transformers for the Kyiv metro, tools for car repair and trenching, individual sets from the store chain “Maxima Latvija” and blankets from “Kesko Senukai Latvia”, as well as other necessary things will go with them.
The convoy was accompanied by Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Olehs Nemchynov, representatives of the charity fund “Ziedot.lv”, the Embassy of Ukraine, supporters, donors and “Viche” drivers, who will take the convoy to the representatives of the armed forces of Ukraine.
The chef of the restaurant “Borščs” treated the visitors of the event with this traditional Ukrainian dish, thus expressing gratitude to Latvia for its support.
