Magyar Telekom revises its revenue target upwards

According to the company, it has experienced strong demand for its services in recent months, especially for mobile data and fixed broadband. Despite the changing economic environment, the development of the subscriber base and the spending habits of customers remained favorable, processes that led to business performance exceeding previous expectations.

As a result, Magyar Telekom decided to revise upwards its objectives for 2023 revenue and EBITDA AL (earnings before interest, tax payment and depreciation, adjusted for depreciation and interest accounted for after the right to use the asset).

He expects a 10%-15% increase instead of the 5%-10% increase previously set.

Other elements of the 2023 objectives remain unchanged.

The company just this morning announcedthat Scope Ratings as a result of the annual review of the credit rating improved the outlook for the company’s issuer credit risk classification to positiveand confirmed the issuer’s credit risk rating and the BBB+ rating for its non-subordinated, unsecured debt.
