KYIV – the capital of Ukraine Kyiv got here under an air assault on Saturday and enormous explosions have been heard, Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko stated, however there was no quick data on whether or not there have been any casualties.

This was the primary assault on Kyiv since late September.

“Strong explosions have been heard on the left financial institution of the capital,” Klitschko stated on the Telegram messaging app, referring to the left financial institution of the Dnipro river.

Air alerts have been introduced for Kyiv and close by area simply minutes earlier than the explosions have been heard. City authorities inspired residents to remain in shelters.
