Intelligence report: Russia has changed tactics, Ukrainian air defense may be in trouble

According to the report of the British Ministry of Defense on Sunday, the intensity of the deployment of Iranian-designed Sahed-136s as a means of measuring strikes against Ukrainian territories has increased again. Russia launched at least 71 kamikaze drones against Ukraine this month, according to the Defense Ministry.

The British Ministry of Defense adds that these attacks occurred after a two-week break at the end of February.

According to the report, Russia has also changed its launch tactics: it is currently launching Iranian drones from two directions: from the Krasnodar region in the east and from the Bryansk region in the northeast.

Launching from two areas gives Russia the flexibility to target Ukrainian facilities in a wider areafurthermore reduces flight time to targets in the northern part of Ukraine.

According to the British Ministry of Defense, the construction of new launch stations is another attempt to overload the Ukrainian air defense.
