Since the Kahovka hydroelectric power station (HEP) in the Kherson region has been partially destroyed, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is preparing a draft order on allocating 200,000 euros to Ukraine for the elimination of the consequences of the floods, Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevičs (JV) informed on the microblogging website “Twitter”.

Since the Kahovka hydroelectric power station (HEP) in the Kherson region has been partially destroyed, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is preparing a draft order on allocating 200,000 euros to Ukraine for the elimination of the consequences of the floods, Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevičs (JV) informed on the microblogging website “Twitter”.

As reported, according to the data of the Ukrainian intelligence service, the Russian occupiers blew up the Kahovka HPP dam on Tuesday at 2.50 am. According to preliminary information, the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP dam was carried out by the 205th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Army.

About 1,300 people have already been evacuated from the Ukrainian-controlled part of the Kherson region due to floods caused by the explosion of the Kahovka HPP dam, the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine said.
