Kirils Visockis is indicated as the representative of the initiative, who emphasizes that the prices of RSU service hotels have been increased by 40% this year.
He calls for this increase and the financial burden on students to be reduced, either by recalculating and reducing prices, or by creating some compensatory mechanism.
Such a solution will provide students with at least an affordable place to live in the already increasing cost of living. Among other things, it will predictably reduce the proportion of interrupted and incomplete studies, which is persistently extremely high in Latvia, emphasizes the author of the initiative.
