At the bottom of the rating is Minister of Education and Science Anda Čakša (JV), while Prime Minister Krišjānis Kariņš (JV) occupies the penultimate place, according to the survey data published this week by the market and social research agency “Latvijas fakti”.
Rinkēvič’s popularity is estimated with 32 points, thus he is far behind his follower – Minister of Health Ligas Menľelsones, who got 9.2 points.
Next in the popularity rating is the Minister of the Interior Māris Kučinskis (AS) with 8.5 points, the Minister of Defense Ināra Mūrniece (NA) with 7.9 points, the Minister of Culture Nauris Puntulis (NA) with 6.4 points and the Minister of Justice Inese Lībiņa-Egnere ( JV) with 4.8 points.
According to the survey data of “Latvijas faktu”, the society views the work of Economy Minister Ilze Indriksone (NA), Environment Protection and Regional Development Minister Māras Sprindžuks (AS) and Welfare Minister Evikas Silinas (JV) quite neutrally. These ministers scored 0.8, 0.4 and -0.5 points respectively in the rating.
The society evaluated the performance of the Minister of Agriculture Didja Šmitas (AS) in a more negative way – with -4.6 points, while the ranking below him is Finance Minister Arvils Asheraden (JV) with -8.6 points, Climate and Energy Minister Raimonds Čudars (AS) with -8.7 points and Minister of Transport Jānis Wittenbergs (NA) with -9.1 points.
The second from the bottom in the rating is Kariņš with -21.5 points, while the lowest rated is Čakša with -24 points, according to the survey conducted by “Latvijas faktu”.
From the results of the survey, it can be seen that, in general, members of the government from “New Unity” are evaluated the most negatively, while the number of evaluation points obtained by the ministers from the “United List” is the highest in total.
1003 permanent residents of Latvia aged between 15 and 74 were included in the survey conducted in June, based on the principle of stratified randomness.
