The situation in Vidzeme animal shelters has become catastrophic. There are many animals left without homes, but there is a shortage of free places to house these animals. Shelters have observed that the number of people who are ready to adopt a pet is currently decreasing. Not only is there a lack of space for animals, but also staff. That is why any volunteer who wants to walk a dog or otherwise help shelters is highly appreciated and welcomed with open arms.
