Latvian soldier Edgars Skreija died last night, according to what Defense Minister Ināras Mūrniece (NA) wrote on Twitter
Today, the legionnaire Edgars Skreija joined the regiments of the world. I will be remembered as a man with a stately posture, a clear mind and unwavering love for his homeland for almost 100 years. There would be no Scray, there would be no graves of the Lestenes brothers. Condolences to loved ones. pic.twitter.com/IoIUpGC5UC

Latvian soldier, Latvian patriot and guard Edgars Skreija left us last night. Edgars was able to give a lot: support, a shoulder, to mother Latvia – also himself. The Lestene Brothers’ graves created by him and his associates will remain, an indelible spirit of patriotism will remain. May it be easy in eternity, Edgar! 🇱🇻🇱🇻🇱🇻
