Starting from September, the municipality of Ādaži region uses only mobile phones for communication, according to the municipality’s website.

As explained on the website of the municipality, the transition to mobile phone numbers only is based on the fact that the structural units of the municipality are located in both Ādaži and Carnikava parishes, in addition, many specialists episodically perform work duties in both parishes or even outside the administrative territory of the county, therefore objectively it is not possible to call landline phones .

The costs of the current internet telephony or fixed line expansion and the purchase and operation of additional telephone sets would create significant additional expenses for the municipality.

By switching to mobile phone numbers, the reach of specialists will be improved, moreover, with significantly lower municipal budget expenditures for communication services, emphasizes the municipality.

On the website of the municipality “www.adazunovads.lv” most of the previous phone numbers have already been replaced with new ones. However, for a short time, specialists will still be able to be called on landline phone numbers.
