However, that was far from true for one woman, who was left shocked by the dodgy cut she received when she visited a new hairdresser.
Tiffany Klassen, who is from the US, took to TikTok where she first shared an image of the stylish and chic shoulder-length cut she had requested.
“This is what I wanted,” she explains. “I asked for shoulder length with the ends thinned a bit because I have thick hair.”
However, what Tiffany got was something very different.
Admitting she went to see a new hairdresser after finding out her usual one was moving, she then appeared in front of the camera to reveal her shockingly uneven cut.
Tiffany’s hair looked like it’d been hacked away with a pair of garden shears.
