The State Department pointed out that the banned nationals include former US President Barack Obama and various levels of executive branch officials, including Nina Jankowitz, the White House counter-disinformation officer, as well as senators and congressmen up for first-term elections in November 2022. representatives and heads of companies supplying arms to the “Kyiv regime”.
The blacklist also includes the names of employees of government and law enforcement agencies “who directly participated in the persecution of dissidents following the siege of the Capitol.”
