In this regard, the Android developers have stated that “A recent Android bug affecting a small number of WhatsApp users resulted in incorrect privacy indicators and notifications in the Android Privacy Dashboard. We thank WhatsApp for their cooperation and apologize for any confusion this bug may have caused to users”. Google, therefore, will proceed to release a fix which will definitely solve the problem.
