It’s Easter time, so the politicians have decided to send greetings to the citizens. – It is already the third Easter in difficult and troubled times. First the pandemic and the global economic crisis, and now the war – Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki began his speech. The head of government took the opportunity to inform Poles of the so-called anti-Putin shield and praise the government’s actions in the face of the war in Ukraine.

Prime Minister Morawiecki in his Easter message. “Many of us would like to go back to normal”

– I realize that many of us would simply like to go back to pre-2020 times, to normal. I believe this normalcy will return. I believe times of peace and secure development will return, Morawiecki said. Before the head of the government extended his Easter greetings to the Poles, he recalled the situation in Ukraine. – We must act responsibly and courageously. This is how the government of law and justice understands its mission – underlined the politician.

– There is a special time ahead of us, Easter time – a feast of rich symbolism and profound meanings. It is a sign of resurrection, a symbol of the victory of life over death, of light over darkness, of love over hatred. May this Easter prove to be an inexhaustible source of hope for us. May they become a spiritual source from which to draw peace, love, solidarity and faith in a better tomorrow. Let’s see it better tomorrow in the faces of our loved ones – our family and friends with whom we are about to sit at the table. And most importantly, we are together in these difficult times. We try to be good to each other. In this way we will demonstrate that evil and hatred have no power over us. In this way we will make the good prevail, Morawiecki stressed. The Prime Minister concluded his speech with wishes for a “happy and blessed Easter”.

“Dear friends, the risen Christ brings hope, strength and joy. May next Easter be a time for us full of love and family warmth. Happy holidays!” – wrote on social media the head of the PSL Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

The New Left co-chair, Włodzimierz Czarzasty, wrote: “I wish you all a happy Easter. A big and rich table at which people of good will will sit. I also extend my warm thoughts to many politicians and politicians, asking for a smile”.
