For context, there are a lot of players they would dream of having Ronaldoin EA Sports FC 24. Those in Career and Ultimate Team modes could still do a lot worse than having Ronaldo’s rating, which dropped to 86 in the new game.

This is a four-point downgrade from the previous iteration of the game, FIFA 23.

As with the Ballon d’Or, the move to Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League will also have many consequences. Ronaldo has still scored frequently following his exit from Manchester United and subsequent move to the Middle East in early 2023, so it appears that the rating of him has largely come down to the league in which he is scoring.

That said, Karim Benzema and Neymar are in the same league and have ratings of 90 and 89 respectively, so something about Ronaldo’s game led the game makers to water down his rating more severely.
