In the last 24 hours in Italy, 85,288 positive cases of coronavirus and 180 deaths due to COVID-19 have been detected. Currently the hospitalized are 8,975 (11 less than yesterday), of which 502 in the intensive care wards (16 less than yesterday) and 8,473 in the other wards (5 more than yesterday). 122,206 molecular swabs and 464,809 rapid antigenic tests were tested. The percentage of positive molecular swabs was 10.62 percent, while that of antigen tests was 15.56 percent. On Monday, the infections recorded were 30,026 and 129 deaths.
The regions that have recorded more cases in the last 24 hours are Lazio (10,562), Lombardy (9,540), Campania (9,179), Puglia (8,211), Veneto (7,313).
