‘Candy Cane Lane’ trailer: Eddie Murphy takes on Jillian Bell in holiday comedy

Amazon is teasing the brand new film Candy Cane Lane.

Prime Video shared a trailer for the holiday comedy starring Eddie Murphy and Jillian Bell on Wednesday.

Candy Cane Lane is written by Kelly Younger and directed by Reginald Hudlin, with Brian Grazer as producer. Murphy, Hudlin and Grazer beforehand collaborated on the 1992 movie Boomerang.

In the brand new movie, Murphy will play Chris, a person on a mission to win the annual Christmas home adorning competitors.

“After Chris (Murphy) inadvertently strikes a cope with an notorious witch named Pepper (Bell) to enhance her probabilities of profitable, she casts a magical spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life, and destroys your complete city. ” reads an official abstract.

The trailer exhibits Chris, his spouse Carol (Tracee Ellis Ross) and their three kids racing towards the clock to interrupt Pepper’s spell and save Christmas.

Prime Video shared a teaser trailer for the movie in October.

Candy Cane Lane is Murphy’s first holiday movie. The movie is launched on December 1.
