A fire broke out in the Russian science and culture center in Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, on Wednesday, the Russian media “Meduza” reports.

As the head of the center, Alina Radchenko, told the Russian propaganda agency TASS, “two bangs were heard” and “according to eyewitnesses, Molotov cocktails were thrown at the building.”

The flames engulfed both the walls and the roof of the building. All people were successfully evacuated from the building, Radchenko said.
