At least 494 children have been killed in attacks by Russian troops in Ukraine in the 500 days since the beginning of Russia’s repeated invasion of Ukraine, and at least 1,051 children have been injured, the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine announced on Saturday.

Russian attacks killed or injured 472 children in Donetsk Oblast, 297 in Kharkiv Oblast, 129 in Kyiv Oblast, 115 in Kherson Oblast, 91 in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, 89 in Mykolaiv Oblast, 83 in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, 71 in Chernihiv Oblast, and 67 in Luhansk Oblast.

The General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine points out that these data are not final, because as the shootings continue, it is impossible to check the entire territory of the country, especially the currently occupied territories.
